Connecting European talent with opportunities in Suriname
SEUBC Talent Bridge is a structured programme that connects students and early-career talent from Europe with organisations in Suriname through meaningful internships and practical work experience, with strong attention to cultural context and knowledge exchange.
What we do
Through SEUBC Talent Bridge, we facilitate internship placements in Suriname in collaboration with local companies and institutions.
The programme is cross-sectoral and includes, among others:
Marketing & Communications
Hospitality & Tourism
Human Resources
ICT & Technology
Healthcare & Social Services
Business & Operations
Internships are flexible in duration (1–6 months). Compensation and practical arrangements are determined by the host organisation. SEUBC supports the process and ensures proper preparation for both the intern and the host organisation.
More than an internship
SEUBC Talent Bridge is not a simple placement matchmaking. It is a guided programme.
Before the internship starts, participants receive a cultural and contextual briefing, covering:
-
Working in the Surinamese context
-
Cultural awareness and communication
-
Workplace expectations and professional etiquette
This approach ensures realistic expectations and sustainable, high-quality placements.
